Examples of use include a guided tour of a stately home, an estate agent showing potential purchasers around a house, a holiday rep explaining resort details to new holiday makers, factory tours. Any hearing impaired person within the group can now enjoy and benefit from the experience. There’s no more having to stand at the front, no need to ask the speaker to repeat themselves, and perhaps more importantly, no more disillusionment at not being able to hear what’s being talked about. Designed to be worn over the shoulder with the unit resting at waist level at the speakers’ side, the shoulder strap contains an external loop giving a communication range of up to 3 metres. The unit is supplied complete with a lapel microphone and battery charger, and is both light in weight and comfortable to wear. As with all Vivid Acoustics induction loop systems, it is designed with simplicity in mind for the user. The unit comes preset from the factory so there are no adjustments necessary. Simple unpack, charge the batteries, plug in the shoulder loop strap and microphone, switch on, and the Guide Loop is ready for use.
