Induction Loops are designed to give hearing aid users the ability to hear clearly dramatically improve communication and enhance the quality of life. The Disability Discrimination Act of 1995 was implemented to stop disabled people feeling marginalised and allow them to play an effective part in everyday life. The Act gives disabled people new rights in various areas which include access to goods, facilities and services. Service providers have a legal duty to implement facilities that ensure the hard of hearing are not disadvantaged in any way when dealing with public matters. It will be necessary for all organisations to address these obligations by providing systems that effectively communicate with anyone having to rely on a hearing aid device. Under Sections 6 and 21 of the Act, all provisions needed to be in place by October 2004. All our products can used in the home, reception and counter areas, churches, schools, leisure centres and larger complexes. Induction Loops are VAT zero rated if you are a church or registered charitable organisation. If you require installation of any of these products please call for further information
