Cabin pressure in an aircraft can cause excruciating pain ruining travel for thousands of people and giving immense discomfort. ProGuard Custom Travel earplugs offer a reliable solution, they work by slowing the rate of change that air moves in and out of the outer ear giving the air trapped in the inner ear more time to escape. By balancing the pressure in such a way, once the aircraft is in descent or ascent mode, your ear mechanism is able to handle the change in air pressure much more comfortably and will alleviate any of the pain you normally associate with flying. ProGuard Travel also comes with an acoustically tuned filter which although decreasing the noise sufficiently enough to allow you to sleep, it does not completely block it and allows you still to hear undistorted sound. Manufactured from non-allergenic medical grade soft translucent silicon they fit discreetly and inconspiciously into the ear canal making them simple to insert and remove, as well as being totally comfortable for long periods of travel time . ProGuard recognise the importance of individual hearing products, we will simplify every stage of getting your own custom fit products made. Of course each product in the range will require impressions of your ears. The process is completely painless and will take no longer than 15 minutes. If you want to get a full understanding of the process where it is fully explained, go to the audiology section on this site. Because we offer a straight out of the box solution, arrangements will be made for impressions to be taken of your ears at one of our locations nationally. Once this procedure has been carried out, you just need to send them back to us in the pre-paid box supplied and in approximately 14 days your own Custom Fit hearing product will arrive at your doorstep.
